Festival Sangue Novo 2026 confirms Rachel Reis and Céu at Trapiche Barnabé in Salvador
Updated: Aug 26
The eighth edition of Festival Sangue Novo takes place on October 17 and 18, 2026, at Trapiche Barnabé in Salvador, and already has two major artists confirmed. Céu, the first act announced, performs on Saturday (17), while Rachel Reis, the second confirmed artist, brings her “Divina Tour” to the festival.
Rachel Reis, one of the notable voices in Brazilian soul and R&B, returns “home”: born and raised in Bahia, the singer celebrates her connection with her home state on the Sanguinho stage. Céu, a reference in Brazilian urban music, is expected to present her original repertoire in a lineup the organizers describe as historic.
The festival is expected to feature around 12 performances over its two-day program, with more names to be announced. Audiences can follow updates through the event’s official channels.
