The Sereiona is back in Salvador. Rachel Reis is the second confirmed act for Festival Sangue Novo 2026 and takes the Sanguinho stage on October 18, at Trapiche Barnabé.

The return comes four years after her last appearance at Sanguinho, bringing Rachel back before a Salvador audience at a prominent moment in her career.

The singer joins Céu, who is also confirmed for the festival’s eighth edition. More names are still expected to join the lineup, with 11 more performances expected to be announced.

Rachel Reis brings ‘Divina Casca’ to Festival Sangue Novo 2026

Blending axé, Afrobeats, reggae and electronic pop, Rachel Reis arrives at the festival with songs from ‘Divina Casca’ (2025).

The set includes tracks such as ‘Casca,’ ‘Alvoroço,’ ‘Apavoro’ and ‘Ensolarada’. The project also earned Rachel a nomination for the Latin Grammy Award for Best MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) Album.

‘Divina Tour’ meets the Salvador audience

The Festival Sangue Novo performance is also expected to feature elements of the ‘Divina Tour’, along with songs that marked other stages of the artist’s career.

Among them are songs from the album ‘Meu Esquema’ (2022), including ‘Motinha’ and ‘Brasa.’

‘Brasa’ creates a special connection with this edition’s lineup: the track features Céu, another artist already confirmed for Festival Sangue Novo 2026.

In addition to Rachel Reis, singer Céu is part of the lineup already announced for the eighth edition.

The presence of both artists also raises expectations because of their musical connection, especially through ‘Brasa,’ their collaboration featured on the album ‘Meu Esquema.’

Festival Sangue Novo is still preparing new announcements. According to the organizers, 11 more shows are expected to be revealed, expanding the program across the two-day event.
