Rodrigo Teaser brings “Tributo ao Rei do Pop” back to Salvador; show celebrates Michael Jackson’s legacy

After sold-out performances in São Paulo, Rodrigo Teaser returns to Salvador with “Tributo ao Rei do Pop”, a show that combines live music, dance, costumes and choreography inspired by Michael Jackson, on October 25 at Concha Acústica do TCA.
The major hits, choreography and visual elements that defined the career of Michael Jackson are returning to the spotlight in Salvador. Rodrigo Teaser presents “Tributo ao Rei do Pop” on October 25, at Concha Acústica do Teatro Castro Alves (TCA).
Now in its 14th year, the show has toured four continents and more than 25 countries. The production combines music, dance and technology to revisit different moments in Michael Jackson’s artistic journey.
At the center of the performance is Rodrigo Teaser, who sings live during the show and brings to the stage a performance built on years of studying the King of Pop’s work.
Rodrigo Teaser returns to Salvador with a show dedicated to Michael Jackson
The return to the capital of Bahia follows a run of sold-out performances in São Paulo and once again brings to Concha Acústica a production designed to recreate different elements associated with Michael Jackson’s concerts.
Rodrigo Teaser will be accompanied by a live band and dancers. The production also features costumes, choreography, special effects and visual elements inspired by different stages of the American artist’s career.
In this way, the show seeks to go beyond performing the songs by incorporating visual and choreographic references widely recognized by audiences.
Tribute has ties to professionals who worked with Michael Jackson
One of the production’s distinctive features is the involvement of professionals who were part of Michael Jackson’s career.
The show has musical supervision by Kevin Dorsey, who worked as Michael Jackson’s vocal director and co-music director, and choreographic supervision by LaVelle Smith Jr., a choreographer who worked with the singer for nearly two decades.

Throughout its history, special editions of the project have also brought together professionals who worked directly with Michael Jackson.
In addition to Kevin Dorsey and LaVelle Smith Jr., the production has welcomed Jennifer Batten and Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett on special occasions.
Today, Dorsey and Smith Jr. remain connected to the project through musical and choreographic supervision, respectively.
Show celebrates different generations of Michael Jackson fans
The Salvador performance also aims to bring together different generations that continue to discover or revisit Michael Jackson’s work.
Songs, choreography and visual references that have crossed decades are part of the experience presented by Rodrigo Teaser.
The return comes at another highlight in the Brazilian artist’s career, following a series of sold-out performances in São Paulo.
Now, audiences in Bahia will once again have the opportunity to see the show at Concha Acústica.

The gates at Concha Acústica do TCA will open at 5 p.m., while the show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m..
