In 2025, the artist released “TBT WS 3”, recorded during Expocrato. The project brought together more than 40 songs and featured appearances by Xand Avião, Raí Saia Rodada, Taty Girl and Luiz Fidelis, connecting different generations and names associated with Northeastern Brazilian music.
This way of looking back also helps show how the singer’s repertoire has followed the transformations of forró itself. Songs that became hits in certain periods return in new arrangements and projects, allowing part of that catalog to find space again among today’s listeners.
Forró and vaquejada culture are also part of Safadão’s projects
Wesley Safadão’s connection with inland festivals gained even more space in projects focused on forró and vaquejada culture. In 2025, the artist’s São João tour was built around the album “Bem-vindo ao Meu Mundo: Forró e Vaquejada”, reinforcing the presence of those references in his recent work.
This connection makes the singer’s presence at vaquejada events consistent with an important part of his repertoire. Even as his career reached major festivals and national projects, Safadão maintained a constant relationship with popular celebrations and with audiences who follow forró across different Northeastern Brazilian states.

In 2026, Wesley Safadão is part of the lineup for Vaquejada de Serrinha, at Parque de Vaquejada Maria do Carmo in Serrinha, Bahia. The singer is among the acts announced for Sunday, September 6, alongside Pablo, Nattan, Rey Vaqueiro, Netto Brito and Devinho Novaes. Sunday’s lineup is confirmed by the event’s official ticketing platform.
His appearance brings together on the same stage an artist who has lived through different phases of forró and names from newer generations of piseiro and arrocha. For the Vaquejada audience, it also represents the meeting of a national career with a musical environment that remains directly connected to the roots of the genre that launched Safadão.
